Code Of Ethics
1. Confidentiality & Sacred Trust
What is shared in the circle stays in the circle.
Members do not repeat or discuss others’ stories outside the group, even anonymously.
No recording (audio/video) without the explicit and unanimous consent of all present.
2. Respect for All Paths
The circle honors the diversity of spiritual, cultural, sexual, and personal identities and experiences.
No one way is “right” or “better.” Members commit to non-judgment and non-proselytizing.
Practices or rituals from specific traditions are acknowledged respectfully, with attribution where appropriate.
3. Consent, Autonomy & Empowerment
Participation in any activity, ritual, or sharing is always voluntary.
Members may “pass” on sharing, rituals, or physical touch without explanation or pressure.
Facilitators do not act as therapists, gurus, or authorities; each woman is the sovereign guide of her own path.
4. Non-Hierarchical Leadership
While facilitators may hold space and structure, no one holds ultimate power over the group.
Leadership may rotate or be shared to maintain balance and prevent dependency on a single figure.
Decision-making is transparent, collaborative, and includes input from all members.
5. Integrity in Spiritual & Emotional Work
Practices offered are shared in good faith, with clarity about their source and purpose.
Facilitators disclose their qualifications (or lack thereof) clearly, especially regarding therapeutic or healing modalities.
The group does not promise “healing,” “miracles,” or guaranteed outcomes.
6. Accountability & Boundaries
Conflicts are addressed openly and compassionately, without gossip or shaming.
Members agree to communicate directly and respectfully if issues arise.
Any breach of the ethical framework will be discussed in circle; repeated or serious breaches may lead to withdrawal of participation to protect the group.
7. Accessibility & Inclusion
Efforts are made to ensure the circle is welcoming and accessible to all women and those identifying as women.
Language and practices are adapted to avoid exclusion and to honour differing needs and abilities.
8. Service, Reciprocity & Community Care
The circle is rooted in mutual upliftment, not self-promotion.
Financial exchanges (if applicable) are transparent and fair, with clear communication about fees, donations, or resource sharing.
Members are encouraged to support one another within healthy boundaries, not to “fix” each other.
9. Cultural Sensitivity & Appropriation Awareness
Sacred practices from Indigenous or other cultures are not used without context, permission, or respect.
The group commits to learning and unlearning to avoid perpetuating harm through spiritual practices.
10. Evolving Agreement
This framework is a living document. The circle revisits and updates it periodically as the group grows.
All members are invited to offer input to ensure it continues to reflect shared values and collective integrity.
