The Capricorn Furnace Guided by The Moon

Mystic Psyche Tarot by Emily Balivet

Moon as Tarot Significator with Daily Lunar Rituals (Dec 29th 2025 to Jan 4th 2026)

This week, while Venus and Mars are drawn into Capricorn’s solar heat, we let The Moon become our guide as the Tarot significator, the living lens through which we feel the sky.

In the Tarot, The Moon (XVIII) is the threshold card. It rules the liminal hours and therefore intuition, instinct, emotional memory and the truths that arrive sideways, through symbol and sensation. When the outer world turns Saturnian and pressurised, The Moon teaches us how to listen without panicking.

The Moon’s movement this week (GMT, London)

  • Mon 29 Dec, 00:00–11:57 Moon in Aries

  • Mon 29 Dec, 11:57 → Wed 31 Dec, 13:13 Moon in Taurus

  • Wed 31 Dec, 13:13 → Fri 2 Jan, 13:09 Moon in Gemini

  • Fri 2 Jan, 13:09 → Sun 4 Jan, 13:43 Moon in Cancer

  • Sat 3 Jan, 10:02 Full Moon in Cancer

  • Sun 4 Jan, 13:43 onward Moon in Leo

Tarot Significator of the Week - The Moon (XVIII)

The Moon as significator is saying, the path forward is revealed by feeling first then form.
It’s the inner alchemist’s lantern, it doesn’t flood the cave with light, it shows the next ten steps.

Practice for the whole week - when you feel pressure, ask,
“What is my nervous system telling the truth about?”

The Daily Lunar Ritual Map

Journal prompt:

  • What do I want to be seen for, not merely praised for?”

Closing: your lunar mantra for the Capricorn Furnace

“Build the vessel that can hold the desire.”
And let The Moon add the second line:
“Let the body tell the truth before the mind decorates it.”
